My name is Payton Farnsworth and I am the creator behind Wild Magpie
What started as a hobby became a lifeline. In May, I was diagnosed with a large tumor compressing my spinal cord at the C1 and C2 vertebrae—an unexpected challenge that changed everything. With surgery and a long recovery ahead, I turned back to jewelry-making not just as a creative outlet, but as a way to continue to support our family. We recently relocated from Grand Junction to Colorado Springs, and through all the change, Wild Magpie has become a symbol of resilience, beauty, and growth. Every piece I create carries a bit of that journey—and I’m so grateful you’re here to be part of it.
